¡Hola!

My name is  María Elena Gaborov Jones -also known as "Profe Jones" - and I teach Spanish at Ashley High School. 

I was born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina. I moved to the United States in 2010. 

I have a MA in Spanish and a MA in Translation and Interpretation. In addition, I hold a graduate certificate in Teaching Foreign Language Education. 

What I enjoyed the most is spending time with my husband and my daughters. I love fostering children, traveling, learning languages, soccer!

I hope to share my passion for the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, and I look forward to learning together with my students!
